One morning, in a waking dream, I found myself in a warm, tropical rain forest.

As I looked all around me, sunlight radiated through the bamboo leaves casting a healing, green light over the entire cool and shaded deck where I was standing.

I looked around wondering where I was and what I was doing here. There were several couples on the large, wooden deck; some sitting, some standing; a mixture of men and women, presumably partners. Then, I noticed, all the women were pregnant. Now I was really curious. I looked around to see if I knew anyone there. As I spotted a friend, she beckoned me to hurry. I rushed over to her wondering, Am I a midwife? Am I about to deliver a baby?

As I assisted the woman through her challenge, I realized she gave birth to herself!
